BFIC also offers expert carburetor restoration services. With restorations, our goal is to restore a carburetor " to its original factory functionality and appearance." This means that the carburetor is rebuilt to factory specifications. And the carburetor bodies and the external hard parts such as levers and screws are re-colored or re-plated, using the finest metal finishing processes available.

This is why a large and growing percentage of our restoration business is now with repeat customers, and by referral. Often we are able to supply original matching number carburetors for vehicle restoration projects.

Precautions are always taken in identifying carburetors, and our shipping and internal work procedures. Please do not send us restoration carburetors without first speaking wiht us. Each job is quoted individually. We make no guarantee we can " perform the impossible " if original parts must be replaced, but we'll always try. Lead times vary, as does core availability, unless we are working with a customer-supplied carburetor core
